My Approach

I am a psychotherapist, board-certified from the State of California to provide marriage and family therapy. I am also a trained art therapist.

I have a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy from the Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California. My Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts began at Parson’s School of Design in New York City and was completed at the California College of Arts in Oakland, California.

As a native of the Bay Area, I feel that I can offer personal understanding and connectivity to many common issues our communities face. I have also had the privilege to travel extensively around the world, helping me gain a greater perspective and understanding of a variety of different cultures and customs.

In my professional practice, I specialize in working with adolescents and helping families and teenagers navigate through this challenging life phase. I also specialize in working with addiction and the effects of addiction on family members and loved ones. I have facilitated a variety of therapeutic and psycho-educational groups for families, children and adults who are struggling with these issues.

All of my experience, both professional and personal, has laid the foundation for me to bring compassion and understanding to best serve each individual’s needs.
